Black plays first. Click an intersection to place a stone. Two consecutive passes end the game and trigger scoring.
How to play Go (house rules)
Players alternate placing stones on empty intersections, Black first.
Capture by flipping: if placing a stone creates a straight line (left/right or up/down) of opponent stones with your color at both ends — like sandwiching them — the whole run flips to your color, Reversi-style. Even a single enemy stone directly between two of your stones on the same line gets flipped.
Flipped stones stay on the board as your color; nothing is removed. Each newly-flipped stone immediately becomes one of your anchors too, so it can chain-flip further opponent runs of its own — one move can cascade through several captures.
You may place on any empty intersection — there's no ko rule and no suicide restriction.
When both players pass in a row, the game ends and the score is each color's stone count on the board, plus any fully-enclosed empty territory.
